You completely miss the point if you think I am complaining. The point is that as we slip through one election after another with no other choices than different colours and flavours of Fabian Socialism, the closer we slide to communist dictatorship. If you have a look at the number of spoiled ballots this time, you will find that a great many folks don't like the choices either. Five hundred years of freedom since Magna Carta should not be disposed of so readily. There is no freedom without economic freedom, and there is precious little of that when ruled by extortionists. It is painful to watch people throw liberty away for the sake of a few handouts paid for with the larceny that has befallen them. The Australian parliamentary system was intended to take the best parts of two models; the Westminster and American systems. That has since degenerated into a celebrity contest little different than Australian Idol. This last election demonstrates this point as both major parties stooped to mud slinging and muck raking, just like the Americans now do. No Colin, I am not complaining about Australia. I am saying you blokes need to wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late to do anything about it.
