So it seems to work very nicely "out of the box". No need for any
magic resetting process. Know more later...
I do hope you do know more later, it is very puzzling. It seems to
mean the box has a memory (however small) to remember the state of
this.
So why not set it to work above 48K when it was manufactured?
Seems to suggest some other feature is disabled by this setting
option but I can't imagine what that might be.
