existed, I was trying to write stuff myself. My employer was of
course PC only and I had a residential C course for a week in
London which I enjoyed a great deal. Had no problem doing what I
needed to on the PC in C.
Several things put me off with Acorn C. I didn't like the idea that
the software was going to make changes I did not understand to my !Boot.
Unsure if it would revert it to out of date modules etc.
Then there was the libraries confusion.
Compared to what we used at work which must have been DOS I suppose
the Acorn version seemed complex, confusing and a bit of a faff.
