on the small spools, are you using the white paper disks
underneath the spools? and have you pushed the thread
tubes down so they only stick above the spool by about 1/2 ".

A lot of times the thread loosens up and drops down below the spool so when the machine feeds out more it pulls tight around the base
of the tube and tightens to a knot then breaks.

Otherwise that should be the only difference in the spools themselves.
(at least that I'm aware of)...

Subject: [amayausers] thread breaks

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie to the AMAYA and commercial embroidery
machines. I had my machine stitching successfully and
last night and today I have been experiencing a lot of
thread breaks. I have both the poly Arc mini and
regular cones on the machine. I have noticed that the
thread breaks seem to occur on the needles using the
mini cones. Does anyone have any ideas why I am
getting these thread breaks and what I can do to solve
this problem.

Thanks,
