What kind of fabric and backing are you using? I've used melco for years and no 
problems.Have you ever stitched this design out before and if so did you have 
problems with it then? I have noticed that when I don't use enough backing I 
have lots of problems.  Last week I did 32 hand towels and after finishing 
about half of them, the very next one I had one thred break after another. It 
was fine though on the very next towel, so I figured the hooping of the towel 
wasn't tight enough. But, most thread brands are basically the same. Debbie
