Hi again Armando
Actually my mind is a bit boggled at the moment, I have been sitting here all
night trying to fathom out what is wrong or what could possibly cause this
problem - to no avail.

Hi Sandy ... this is probably too simple, but I had it happen to me a few
weeks ago. I had actually started to download some pictures from my camera when
it stopped with some sort of error message about the USB connection. I left the
camera plugged in and went to Device Manager and sure enough .. it had the
yellow exclamation mark on the USB root hub. I unplugged it, rebooted and it
reinstalled the driver, but the same thing happened when I plugged the camera
in again. If I unplugged the camera it was fine. I ended up simply moving the
plug to another USB jack (I went from the back of the computer to the front)
and had no further troubles. I assume there was a problem in that one jack.
Anyway, I have not had a problem since so thought I would mention that in case
you haven't tried that yet. If you used the same cord at work as at home, that
would eliminate any possibility of the cord being damaged. Good Luck!!

  Howard
