Hi Suresh,

Please try this.

1.Does all the SI tools check the ibis models when we import it into
  the Library Manager?
-------> there are many freewre tools(eg HyperLynx6.0, inbuilt tool with
cadence allegro etc..) to check the ibis model. Before importing the
model u must verify the model.

Thanks & regards,
Kondala

hi,sureshk
    Please see the following:
1, yes, almost all the SI tools check the model syntax warnings and =3D
errors, such as SQ(dmlcheck) and =3D
ICX(setupibismodelchecker),automatically
2, In SQ, it's possibe(I'm learning ICX now,don't know, but i see its 16
=3D pin connector ,so it should), you can assign a 8 pin resistor array =
=3D
with (1 8 2 7 3 6 4 5) or other forms. 3, If models having problem,
first try to see the model to find some =3D error which is easily solved,
such as file name's inconsistency(SQ don't =3D support the name's
inconsistency), but contacting the vendor is the fast =3D and directive
way (maybe they will tell you their model is correct, so =3D ...^_^, I
don't know).

Best regards,
Greg

Hi Experts,

I would like to know some information about the SI tools,

1.Does all the SI tools check the ibis models when we import it into
  the Library Manager?
2.Is it possible to create a model for for Resistor Arrays?
(If possible please post sample resistor array model for me) 3.Some of
=3D the IBIS models downloaded from the website are having problem like =
=3D
Typical value more than Maximum value etc .... How to get the correct =3D
information?

Thanks in Advance.
