According to a schedule list, which Ian Parker got from the factory, batch
2315000 to 2315999 (1000 cameras) was started on 6th September 1971 with
factory production code UFP1. Some of these were fitted with the Tessar lens
until stocks ran out and then were fitted with the Xenar 75mm f3.5 lens as
used in the Rolleicord Vb.

From then on all batches were fitted with Xenar lenses.....

Batch 2316000 to 2316999 (1000 cameras) was started on 25th January 1972
with production code UFP2
Batch 2317000 to 2317999 (1000 cameras) was started on 20th July 1972 with
production code UFP3
Batch 2318000 to 2318999 (1000 cameras) was started on 12th March 1973 with
production code UFP4
Batch 2319000 to 2319499 (500 cameras) was started on 2nd February 1974 with
production code UFP5
Batch 2319500 to 2319999 (500 cameras) was started on 4th May 1975 with
production code UFP6

Ian Parker states with reference to the cameras produced with production
codes starting with UFP1 ³The last production of the Rolleiflex T was an
order for 3500 cameras over a five year period from the British Ministry of
Defence. All these cameras used a new front-plate inscribed ³MADE IN GERMANY
ROLLEI-WERKE FRANKE & HEIDECKE² followed by the serial number preceded by
the letter T........... After the remaining stock of Tessar lenses had been
used, Schneider Xenar 75mm f3.5 lenses as used in the Rolleicord Vb still in
production, were substituted. The number of ?T¹ cameras actually
manufactured with Xenar lenses is approximately 4640. The over production
run of this order being 1140 were sold through Rollei agents²

So Sanders¹ ?T¹ was probably made in May or June 1972

I have a copy of the full schedule of 125,026 Rolleiflex?T¹ camera
production which I hope to type up at some point.
