Hi Carlos,
I'm sure that the ledger clerk who did the paperwork in the office had no
idea as to what parts actually went into each camera. He would only be
interested that if they produced 1000 cameras, 1000 of each part had to be
ordered and at the end of the run, if there were any bits left, they'd
either been over delivered or some parts had been missed off some cameras.
Equally, if a similar part was on a different model, that stock could be
raided, in the event of non delivery etc., to keep the production running.
I'm sure that happens now with, believe it or not, cars amongst other
things. ;-)
Just a thought.......Did Jonny Cash ever work in Braunschweig? ;-)
