My Rolleiflash photo of family at Thanksgiving, did not come out. Somehow the shutter and flash weren't in sync.Which camera? On my 2.8E the self timer lever puts the flash synch in X automatically. If you used a flashbulb and normal sort of shutter speed the shutter will have opened and closed before the bulb had a chance to come up to full illumination. On older Rolleis, like the MX, the synchroizer setting is independant of the self timer.I used the self timer and I had the flash sync set to M. Is there anything about the self-timer and the M setting that doesn't work? The one shot that did come out was only different in that I released the shutter myself.Elias
