2009/12/9 Mark Rabiner <mark@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > Hey! It zoomed! Yes, but you don't need a flash with zoom for a Rollei TLR or for any camera with built in fixed focal length and you have the off camera Flash feature for the 283 to supply the lack of a swivel head, it's not so simple like a swivel head but it works; anyway I have four flashes to cover different necessities. The 283 Guide number full power is 36m/120feet for ISO 100, 72/240 for ISO 400, very good numbers for a camera electronic flash. The Nikon SB-800 that you referred has 38m/125feet Guide Numbers at ISO 100 and then the real power for both flashes is identical for practical purposes.
