your settings are set on wmp to view and hear those files? 
maybe they are system resource hogs? (wishful thinking, huh?)

With Day 51 I get the same thing as the others, No audio hardware. I see the 
video fine. It must be the wmp as all my other programs work. and wmp will play 
.mid files but not .wav or .wmv

I swear, they're setting win 98 up to self destruct because so many people like 
it and still use it!! They were going to stop supporting it, then they extended 
it - 
ok - I get picture with the Day 51 - no sound. 
I clicked on 5 of the others, and got sound on all of them.
