Don... have you ever considered getting into the service and repair =
business
on a more steady basis? Outside of Walmart? And making some extra money?
Home theatre is a big business, too. I know you said "simple" home
stereo/surround sound, but that's the exact stuff people are paying good
money for. And, since your mindset is in the right place, you would pick =
up
the more technical installs quite easily.

My best skill is providing information and advice to customers to enable
them to make a well informed decision on what home technology item(s) =
will
meet their needs (both technically and financially).
I am an experienced amateur working with computer and home entertainment
hardware.
Building and installing computers for myself and close family. Clean
installs of OS and basic software packages. Simple home networking and
wireless connections.
Connecting simple home stereo/surround sound and/or TV systems with VCRs =
and
DVD players.
Been "playing" with computers since the mid-late 80s and with home
entertainment systems since the late 60s.
