Ann Just be careful, girl--you might just GET what you wish for!!! (VBG) I could do with a holiday outta this place.......... For the record, we are located in southwest Scotland (not exactly handy for all you US based residents, I know), about 120 miles north of the Scotland/England border. For those of you who have GoogleEarth, try dialling in 55:21'09:66N 4:38'33.93W and you should be looking right at our humble abode. We were gifted this place not long after our marriage from the old farmer who I'd been working for when he retired. I've since had a fair bit of work done to this place to get it converted for my use (given that I'm now in a chair). As to the suggestion of putting together a list of active techs on the list, I'm up for it. In fact, I reckon it would be a good idea: it's a fair bet that we have a wide range of speciality disciplines among the membership, and it could be useful to have such a list to hand. Information like that is NEVER wasted--it's only a matter of time before someone somewhere needs something esoteric, and having this sort of resource on hand would be a great idea. I surely never get any kind of help like that from anyone on service calls...want to move next door to me? As an aside to Gman...we got all my files safely off the drive, I ordered a external hard case, they had the power supply in wrong and I blew the ding busted thing when I put the drive in it...whoop de doo...It was not the one you suggested as the man who helped me get the files off picked out one from geeks.com. It slipped right in with no problem so had no reason to believe it was not meant to go in that way...Today, I will take the hard drive out of an old computer and try it again....I keep them for spare parts. Good morning to all.
