The unions are still not being realistic. The news is reporting that they scuttled the current attempt at a bailout. I guess they figure (correctly) that they will get what they want from the next Congress. The Senate asked them to bring their compensation in line with what Toyota and Nissan are paying for labor in the U.S. by the end of 2009. To paraphrase the Governor of Illinois, the unions told the Senate to F*C$-off.
