   He didn't have the Find my Mac feature turned on, unfortunately.  That was 
the first question I asked him.

    As someone who has 3 brothers and several family and friends who are 
members of the law enforcement community, I can concur with what Sarah has 
said.  It is highly unlikely that the machines will be returned or located.  
The incident smells of a drug related crime for quick cash.
