Yes, I am installing from CD. It is the Haiku nightly build r39648 Gcc2 Hybrid. My hardware is mentioned here: http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/6319#comment:9 Please note that I had no problems when installing the official Haiku Release 1 Alpha 2 version (besides the solved problem with the 2 core CPU support). If you need the exact specification of my hardware, I could run SisSoft Sandra. However, here is a summary of the manufacturer Samsung: http://www.samsung.de/de/support/detail.aspx?aguid=dc3ef38c-d539-4c79-9ebc-b566bc398905&stab=specs Hard disk: 120 GB SATA Festplatte mit 5.400 U./Min. DVD drive: DVD-Super-Multi Double Layer, 5x DVD-RAM, 8x DVD±R 2.4x DVD+R DL, 4x DVD±RW, 24x CD-R, 10x CD-RW, 8x DVD, 24x CD I do not think that the recorded CD is the problem. I used a well-known brand of the CD-R and I recorded it with only 24x instead of 48x. Regards, Miroslav Stimac > Are you installing from CD?
