Hi All,

I finally had a great experience with the project late/early this morning
- 3:00 am. After my initial earlier login, wherein the server was
excruciatingly slow and it took me nearly an hour to review 12 movies, I
managed to complete 175 real movies and 69 calibration movies in about 90
minutes. I moved quickly from a ranking of 3686 to 328. (I wanna get into
that top 100)

I'm so disappointed in myself with my specitivity/sensitivity scores of 92
and 91 - I really messed up in that initial login and marked four
calibration movies incorrectly before I realized that even the focuser was
not responding properly. Suspect tracks (rings) that would have normally
focused on out as non-tracks remained focused with that crawling server
and I marked them as tracks before giving the focuser enough time to
respond. Darn it! ;)

For those who are pre-registered and tested, but havent yet logged in, I
highly recommend reviewing the tutorial before you start your first
viewing session. Maybe doing so myself would have saved me those four
errors in my original slow server/response login.

Marco, I agree. I suspect those movies with the sharp focus at the bottom
were actually reversed or inverted sequences. Regarding the movies that
are clearly two different areas - I recall a mention of those in the
tutorial somewhere. I had five or six of those.

The best part of all this is the movies themselves. Just to think about
what we are actually reviewing. This composite, that aerogel, was exposed
to a world billions of miles from here - some exotic place that we'll
always only know through images and collectors. And how fantastic that we
can, indeed, know it in even this way. I love it :) and I am thrilled with
this opportunity to participate.

So, a great experience with the StarDust@Home Project!
