Pam, the simple answer to this, is not all Bookshare members are blind, or even low vision. Bookshare is for all print disabilities, from the person with a learning disability that causes problems with reading to the person who can't physically hold books. For these sighted members, the text looks prettier in .rtf. Plus those page breaks do make a Daisy file a bit more fun to navigate, smile. That is why. With Rich Text you get the formatting of the fonts, and positioning of the text which actually does add quite a bit to a story sometimes. That is why they want it like that. Shelley L.
