Hi Bud,
You asked what else you should do before uploading a book. If you mean, with
respect to K1000 specificaly, I can't think of anything. You could, of course,
run the book through ranked spelling, unless you edit as
you read, and fix ocr errors. And there's always the matter of header
regularization and/or stripping, especially if the header text has been mangled
by the ocr, so its a mess. That is time consuming and tedious, of
course. Clearly, the more cleaning and fixing the submitter does, the easier
tha validator's task. But how much one chooses to do is a matter of individual
choice.
