Well, the way you said it makes sense. I am glad I know now and hope it makes sense to others.

Feeling silly, but glad to be educated,
Lori

Hi Lori,

It's questions like yours that point out things in the manual that we need
to clarify. It's great that you asked!

Mayrie,

Oh thank you for sshedding light. I think I got confused when reading the
manual. Ug, swallow hard. I will definitely implement this practice.

Hi Lori,

When I standardize font, I never change the parts that are bold and
italicized. I always leave those alone. Then, if the chapter headings
aren't already bold, I bold them. So, when you standardize font, Choose
your font type Times New Roman, or Ariel, or whatever, and skip everything
except the size combo box and hit enter on okay. This way bold and
italics
in the book which are often important to a reader are kept.

Hi all,

At the beginning of a text that I am proofing there is a note that the
words
that are bolded are in the glossary. If I change the font to 12 point and
regular, this is going to mess it all up. What have people done in this
circomstance? Do I just through and leave as is and not change the whole
document and make sure to change the chapters so they are right or do I
procede and put a note that the words won't be bolded.

Thanks to all in advance,

Lori M
