They are host-based. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jason Patten Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2007 10:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: printer aggravation So I take it the best solution is to quietly take the printers out back and install updated drives with a baseball bat? :) From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> [mailto: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>] On Behalf Of Jason Patten Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2007 9:27 AM To: thin Subject: [THIN] printer aggravation FOr the most part I love the new Universal printer, but even with that I am encountering various printers that do not print. Primarily I am having trouble with various Lexmark printers and the HP LaserJet 1022. Currently by citrix policy I enforce universal driver for all printers, but I am looking at creating an exemption policy for those users that are having trouble with printing and trying to setup a mapping for those paticular models that are giving me fits. ANy ideas on the best way to go about that or what drivers I should use? I know currently there are issues with the Lexmark X3550, Lexmark T520, and HP laserJet 1022 Of course I also have issues with various users running Mcaffee and its printer issues are always fun.
