Guys we use the UPD with everything only. We use it with PS4 and 2003. And rollup three. So far touch wood we have had no real issues apart from the 9.15 client crashing. If we remove print drivers on the local device and readd them back or upgrade to the V10 client this fixes it. All our printers are HP. They are host-based. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jason Patten Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2007 10:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: printer aggravation So I take it the best solution is to quietly take the printers out back and install updated drives with a baseball bat? :) From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> ] On Behalf Of Jason Patten Sent: Thursday, September 27, 2007 9:27 AM To: thin Subject: [THIN] printer aggravation FOr the most part I love the new Universal printer, but even with that I am encountering various printers that do not print. Primarily I am having trouble with various Lexmark printers and the HP LaserJet 1022. Currently by citrix policy I enforce universal driver for all printers, but I am looking at creating an exemption policy for those users that are having trouble with printing and trying to setup a mapping for those paticular models that are giving me fits. ANy ideas on the best way to go about that or what drivers I should use? I know currently there are issues with the Lexmark X3550, Lexmark T520, and HP laserJet 1022 Of course I also have issues with various users running Mcaffee and its printer issues are always fun.
