I've never had a problem with SEP, and been using the Citrix Profile Management solution for a couple of years now. It's got to be configured right, such as the scan exclusions and preventing the ccApp.exe and SmcGui.exe processes from running in user sessions. They are ugly and very old school. There are far more options now days. Cheers, Jeremy. This would have been blasphemy 8-10 years ago. I'm curious to see how Citrix's Profile Management works over slower <2Mbps WAN links. They were having an issue with their profiles until it was determined it was the SEP process hanging onto files. Once we added the SEP process to the registry key (sorry never can remember that key's name) that checks for modules at logoff, their profile issues went away. They do use the streaming option available with UPM. > > Thanks > > > Carl Webster > Consultant and Citrix Technology Professional > http://www.CarlWebster.com > > ________________________________________ > From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] on behalf of Harry Singh [hboogz@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, November 01, 2011 4:39 PM > To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [THIN] Re: Roaming profile getting corrupt > > Yup.
