Management can be used.
Since you’re running 2003, I can give you Flex-Profiles Standard 6.0.1 , which
was the last of the free versions.

Could you list a few alternatives to roaming profiles that you mention exist?
It's been a while since I've done a new deployment and knowing what else is out
there to supplant the dreaded roaming profile I'm sure will come in handy
--either in a meeting or while planning an implementation.

You really shouldn’t be running roaming profiles any more. They are ugly and
very old school. There are far more options now days.

The customer I have using UPM has 25 users spread over the globe on some of the
most unreliable Internet connections imaginable. No issues now that SEP has
been put under submission.

Turning off SEP or real-time a/v scanning seems to be a recurring fix/theme
these days. This would have been blasphemy 8-10 years ago.
I'm curious to see how Citrix's Profile Management works over slower <2Mbps WAN
links.
