That's not the way I'd look at it.
The customer comes up with the cost of repairs and gets it back when(if)
Sony coughs up.
I don't mind holding a couple hundred but not a couple thousand and hoping
the company doesn't sneak out.
If I have to go after the customer for an unpaid warranty claim of $200, I
stand a much better chance of getting it, than if it's $2000.
