I do a lot of things for myself,BECAUSE guys like the webmaster fix it
yourself guy, take good repairs from me. No shop can survive only on tough
dogs and hack jobs. When things are good I hire guys to fix my home and
maintenance it,as its better for me to work in the shop.Lately I have been
doing all my home repairs and maintenance, but found a real good place to fix
my van,for only a little more than it would cost me,and they are real good.I
left the truck in the morning, late afternoon it had new rear brakes, and they
replaced the leaking cylinders also.Strauss is always like that in my
area, been doing my work for years.I take it to a place where I wait for a
lube and oil change, and I know they change the oil hot, because I bring it in
hot,and am leaving a short time later.Years ago i went to a place that
wanted to let the motor cool off first! I had to explain I wanted to change
the oil for the good of my engine, not to enrich the service station!
