I agree with Eric; that is what I, also, took Norma to mean, and I do
believe it to be a 100% true statement!! I know of NO human being that is
there for another 24/7/365!! Humans aren't capable of that!! And, that is
one of the reasons why I love my dogs, too, whether they are with me or out
doing their jobs elsewhere.
It amazes me how quickly some perfectly nice people are so willing, almost
drooling, to attack certain other listers. How sad and uncharitable. Why
SHOULD we all think alike????

I think what Norma meant was people not being there 24/7, not her dogs.
