Over the years, we have been lucky to have 3 dogs and 2 bitches that have
been competitive
in the Group. They have all been multiple Group winners......and one a
multiple BIS winner.
That, in it self, has been a lot of fun.......and quite an "ego"
massager.....BUT, over the years,
I have realized that something more important has happened.
Because of staying and competing in the Groups, my "Dog Family" has grown
tremendously.
I have met more people and made new friends..........learned about "those
other dogs".
I enjoy walking around the rings and chatting with folks......hearing about
their dogs, their families
and what is happening in their lives......and developing a bond that is
wonderful. We have cried together,
laughed together, cheered for each other, helped each other out in good
times and bad, and "taught"
each other many things.
So, stay for the Group.......and meet a new friend........and find out how
much they love their breed.
It's a "growing experience".
