Be quick to correct the swimmer as young as possible so that he/she can  live 
as normal a life as possible. But remember the swimmer syndrome is more  
often than not hereditary do not use it for breeding. The puppy lives a good  
life 
the breed avoids another pitfall. Everyone wins.
