The Lexington Horse Park is being refitted to host the 2010 World Horse Show.
A very huge event. From what I understand, the building we will have is
completely climate controlled.
Besides, in 1996, there was NOTHING wrong with the weather! I didn’t feel a
thing!!!

If Lexington,Ky, are we going back to the horse park? Everyone still gripes
about how cold it was, and it did snow through the arena roof. We loved it,
because we are from the Gulf Coast of Texas and seldom get to experience
snow.It was a lovely site, but I remember there were lots of unhappy folks, no
cover for performance venues and we were all under blankets and buying lots of
sweats,and Scott & Loren's lattes and hot chocolate...so I am little surprised
that we are going back for in 2011 & 2013?

It was brought up as one that should be visited -- but then everyone got all
excited about Lexington and we've booked it for a 2011 and 2013 (Centennial
for the club -- 2 weeks of GSDs invade Lexington).
I think figuring out how to get into there from the extremer portions of the
continent might be an issue, but I admit I haven't looked at it very closely
at flying into Tulsa.

I was wondering if anyone had considered the Ford Truck Arena in Tulsa,
Oklahoma as a site for the National. I don't know very much about the site
except it looked great on the streaming video of the Arabian National Hose
Show. I think it has 3 large arenas, lots of stalls, it implies on their
site that it has lots of room - it seems like Tulsa is central US. They
had Arabians from all over the world that were shown at their National.
