Ask at the PO and see if you can send them by" Delivery Conformation" and
that will give the sender a number to look up to see when it was delivered
to the recipient. No signatures required. It is cheap, but I'm not a clerk
and don't know if you can do that with just a first class stamp, You can do
it if you send it Priority Mail tho. I have.
