I've been show secretary and here are some of the reasons (some very valid)
for last minutes entries:
-You never received and entry and just finding out
-Clients haven't made up their minds
-Your dogs, or your clients dogs, only needs majors, so you wait to see
what the entry looks like
-You have a change of plans that allows you to go to those shows
-You have a new dog
-You ,or your client, forgot
