I *believe* the initials LPD originally stood for Long-lasting Paper
Developer, though they no longer refer to it as such.
It is made by Ethol, a part of Brandess/Kalt/Aetna now. It can be
purchased as either a powder (in a small can), or as a liquid. Around
$10. for the one-gallon (stock solution) size. Dilution is anywhere
from full-strength (very warm brown) to 1:4 (slightly warm).
They recommend 90-180 seconds of development - I use 75-90 and like
the results, using Ilford MG RC Warmtone paper. This combo tones
*very* easily in KRST, KBT, or sepia.
Jeffrey, please excuse my ignorance, but what is LPD?
