How big is the file? How much total memory does the system have? Will it open OK in Word? You may need to break a single large file down into chapters or other smaller segments and then print one segment at a time. Another option might be to take it to Kinko's or Staples and have them print the file. You might consider putting the book into an e-book so it could be distributed as a file and then read in a book reader or Word or similar device or program. Well I usually lurk and read your problems and solutions. Suddenly I have one that has me rather perplexed. I have created a book and I had to do it in Microsoft Word to get the page in the style I wanted. My computer is about ten years old, a Compaq Presario I added two sticks of memory and put the newest to the front and the oldest memory further down the line. Now, a person ordered a copy of my book so I clicked on the file and wanted to print. I get an out of memory box plus an explanation that says there are over 500 fonts and I need to remove fonts. My plan is to attempt to put many of the extra fonts onto a disk to see if that will alleviate the problem. If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful. I think the Microsoft Office is version 7 or 8. It came as part of the bundle with the computer. If you have any ideas I'd sure like to hear them as I donated a copy of this book to the Arabian Rescue and a generous person bought the book. I need to get it printed, bound and sent to this person as soon as possible.
