Karen, I had a lot of help from G-man on getting my fonts reduced to a proper amount. Trouble is I don't remember exactly how we did it. I googled "Extra fonts folder; managing too many fonts" and about 4 down found a good tutorial on managing fonts. Take a look. It tells you the ones you must absolutely leave alone and it tells you how to create a new folder and move excess fonts to it. I named that folder "Extra fonts". They still are usable but they don't bog down your computer. Good luck!
