Partition windows xp.
I can't remember if I asked this the other day or not <sorry, lots to remember>.

My new pc arrived. I've not tried it yet since I'm borrowing the new monitor
at the moment so I can see some stuff on this old computer since the old
monitor is shot. <well, very very dark>

If you had a 120 gig hard drive on a new pc, how would YOU partition it. I
don't have partition magic. But the new one has xp home editon on it. I don't
even know how many partitions I should make.
I was thinking, one for mp3 music files, as that takes up a lot.
One for windows?
One for photo editing and photo's perhaps?
A Misc one?

I don't know. I'm welcoming suggestions and instructions on how this is done.
I hear it is easy to do, I'm just new at it.

How would you divide up a 120 gig pc?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
