Hi All -I no longer practice, but my technique was to be communicating with the patient constantly throughout the early part of the procedure. The physician could inject, take the needle out, communicate about the current or next patient and leave the room while the patient would still be listening to me. The photographer must be firmly in control of the room throughout the procedure!
