did you try photographing the skin around the injection site? (with the FA
filters in place)

i remember a patient where this same thing happened - no pain, no
discomfort, no lump, no sign of infiltration, no dye in the eye.

one shot of the arm portrayed a beautiful glowing pool of subcutaneous
sodium fluorescein.
