The question is, why are you trying to read so little into it?

Custom logic chips?  If the box runs XP, then it has to have all the 
"regular" PC stuff in there.  Like, ummm...a regular PC mainboard.

Unless you're expecting Microsoft to write XP drivers for Apple's "custom 
logic chips"?!!
