Which version of fp are you using? ... You can only colour
shared borders in FrontPage 2002 and it will show up on the
server only if it has fp 02 ext on.

You can't set the shared border to lengths you would need a
table in it to force to a size you want.. both ways.. try
that and see what happens on different pages I think that
will work.
