Someone (Linda?) noted that much of FP only works if you are working "in a
web".

You can use FP to create a page. You can use FP to create dozens of pages
which, for you, comprise a web.

But some of the major power of FP comes from letting FP in on the design. By
telling FP that a particular folder should be a "web", you let FP create, in
that folder, other folders and files to keep track of "stuff". Then when you
create individual pages in that folder, FP "knows" about them.

For example, it keeps track, for instance, of every page referencing every
graphic and of every page referencing every other page.

If you are using a "web structure", then when you rename a file in FP, it
will automatically run around and update all the other pages referencing
that page. It will do the same if you rename a graphic.

I recently worked with someone who had been using FP for 6+ months a page at
a time. When she finally turned on the web thing she was both ecstatic and
angry. Ecstatic at what it can do; angry because she'd been doing it.
