Look in navigation view in FrontPage.. how many files are
showing in the view pane? Not the folder list but the
navigation view pane?

for files to show up they first have to be in the navigation
view.. then in the navigation bar in the shared border they
have to told which view to 'see' child pages top level
etc...

check that
