If the technical challenges behind the NYI functions are not too great, users could donate towards specific functions, very similar to what the NaturalDocs guy did for languages getting full support. For example string concatenation and pairs are real killers for some specific use cases. It's not so much that they can't bet JITed efficiently, it's the fact that the trace abort prevents portions (sometimes large) of the code from being compiled. If they're critical for a particular project, then companies could be convinced to donate. Make the interface for doing so sufficiently simple, with payment macs for PayPal and Visa and you'd probably do well. -Arran
