By "hawks" you mean I suppose those of us who want to defend our nation and
our allies against Militant Islam.  Since you aren't a "hawk, you of course
you are opposed to that.  You either don't think there is a Militant Islam
who wants to destroy us or you agree with them that we should be destroyed.
It is good to have opinions and know where you stand.

Hawks run policy based on fantasy (flowers, lobotomies) and believe their

swinging at the pinata style policies made them safer, when every

indication is the opposite.  Ideological mumbo jumbo is the veneer they

cover their flowers and lobotomies with, and here we are.  Wolfowitz got

mad not because his policies weren't working, but because he was told they

weren't working.  Lawrence does the Wolfowitz thing by using words like

anti-American for those who bring it to his attention.  It's a strange

mindset on which we expect to maintain superpower status.
