That's another fact that Lawrence is ignoring. Heroin is booming, because the Afghani opium
production is sky high. Who is producing it? The USA says its Taliban. Yeah, right, the same
Taliban that threatened death sentences to anyone who grew opium. Yep, another CIA
disinformation ploy.
Who is producing the opium in Afghanistan? Why, it's our allies in building democracies: the
war lords. Warlord, druglord, how things get all twisted around when you're trying to build
peace.
In return for supporting the neocons against the Talib, the USA had to promise
hands-off-no-peeky-boo to the warlords.
Go ahead, Lawrence, spin this one.
