Am I the only one on the list suffering constant Trojan Horse attack warnings this morning?
Off for a walk whilst I get Avast to scan the system. Gerry Winskill Gerry Winskill wrote:
Hi Kev, Ex Rumpole of the Bailey, not my wife, I hasten to add! "She Who Must Be Obeyed!"A certain gent on my list refers to his as "The Management". Both references may only be made in writing, behind locked doors or whilst wearing BSI Kite marked protective clothing.Gerry Winskill 175@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote:Thats a new one on me Gerry - SWBO She Who Bellows Orders perhaps? ;-) Kev T Gerry Winskill <gwinsk@xxxxxxx> wrote:Paul,The last bit reminds me. Towards the end of the summer I lashed out on a very expensive pair of biking jeans. Inside they have a thin layer of Aramid; a Kevlar style material, that provides the protection I get from leathers, at a lower weight. When on the phone to a friend across, SWBO reported I'd bought another bike, also these expensive jeans. When she explained the cost was because of this "special mesh", the friend said "oh, that'll be for the incontinence pads!".Gerry Winskill Paul Reynolds wrote:Now then Gerry,As SWMBO would say, you need to get away, have a change of surroundings, relax and enjoy yourself. And if that's what SWMBO says then that's whatyou'll do. After all SWMBO doesn't stand for nothing! As for being slightly damp, that last landing a bit tricky then? Or have theincontinence pads leaked again? Paul, toungue firmly in cheek. -----Original Message-----From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On BehalfOf Gerry Winskill Sent: 29 January 2008 14:07 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] Re: Not too hotReal real weather looks even worse, looking through my window in Ramsey! It's all right for you lot, just switch off FSX and you can get awayfrom the "real IOM" weather; some of us can't. To be fair, "some of us"hasn't left the Island for two years and isn't going off next week in astate of euphoria! Gerry Winskill, slightly damp. The chances of escaping this are less than those of a snowball in hell. Any clearance involving a height or heading should be repeated by the aircraft so both parties are clear about what is going to happen. bones -----Original Message-----From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] OnBehalf Of 175@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: 27 January 2008 19:55 To: jhb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jhb] Re: Not too hotJust online at Farnborough, delighted to see Jerry on the apron as I logged on. Flightplan to EGNS (home). Winds calm, he was heading forrunway 06. He called up. Herein I have to apologise, my performance was poor, I suggested a heading from 06 which should have routed him direct to NORRY, his first waypoint. Traffic was light but mostly using 27 at Heathrow. Diamond 068 took off and turned on a heading which kept him out of EGLL airspace but on a Northerly heading. I should have asked, but as I didn't confirm any clearance, I watched as he climbed, stillNorthbound for another 10 miles, at which point I wondered if my 300degrees had been heard as 360 degrees and asked.Jerry accepted "own navigation" and spent some time travelling Westto regain his original flightplan......Sorry. This only serves to highlight the need for clearance so that both parties are aware and can follow the flight progress. I'm stilltrying to avoid the pregnant pauses over clearances as I look up thelesser used ISEC's and Fix's... Once again apologies offered. G'day -- No virus found in this incoming message.
