Jim,
As I said, if you reread my message below, is that people on a number of
lists are saying that the same thing happens to them with various versions
of Word, not just one version. copying the full Web page into a Word
document may crash Word, as it does for me and screw up something in the
normal.dot template, or it may cause other problems. In other words, this is
a flaw in the way this new Jaws feature behaves with Word. It isn't
Microsoft's fault. I hope you see the logic. If not, no problem. Thank you
very much for your interest.

proboe.I'm sorry if this wasn't clear. Thank you very much for your
interest.

No it comferms that it is a problem. It very may well be a problem with
word having nothing what so ever to do with jaws.

Thanks. I'm on a couple of other lists, too, and haven't seen anyone mention

that. Good. That confirms my impression that it's a problem with Jaws, not
some mysterious quirk of my own system. I'm reporting it, and hope others
do, too.

Aparrently, the crashing of word is a common thing with this new feature of
jaws, so you are not the only one. I haven't tried it myself, but I have
seen comments on a few list today about how word keeps crashing when someone
pastes something in to it using jaws 9.
