They do not get the concept because they do not need too.

All they know is by clicking the left mouse button, within an edit field,
activates the cursor so they can type text into that field.

But, in effect, they are turning on forms mode, although they do not realize
that is what they have done.

And by clicking the left mouse button on "OK", "GO", buttons, etc., they are
turning forms mode off.

The only reason we know that forms mode is turned on, is that JAWS tells us.

So, for example, when you press ENTER on an edit field within a form, JAWS
was to say "edit" instead of "Form Mode On"and that had been the case since
the Forms Mode function was introduced, you may not yourself realize or know
that you were using forms mode, just like sighted people.
