Yes it was going in to forms mode automatically. But don't get me wrong, I love auto forms mode just don't want to be in forms mode as soon as a page starts and I can't then navigate around without having to press additional keys.

It sounded to me as if often when the person who wrote the message about this went onto a web page and landed on an edit field, he was automatically thrown into forms mode. Doesn't sound to me as if he had a choice at all. The decision was made for him. The way JAWS 9 works, you have a choice. You are by default not in forms mode, and if you want to be, you choose it. There's no guesswork, no sometimes you're in forms mode, sometimes not. It is consistent, and, IMO, works very well because of that consistency.
